Water: Thermodynamic Properties

Water is an amazing substance, a necessary ingredient for life on Earth with thermodynamic properties that set it apart from other liquids we come in contact with in our daily lives.  Here we summarize our efforts at finding publicly available information (i.e. - without payment or subscription) about water, so that others don't need to waste time stepping through pages of search results.

Tabulating high-quality data on properties like Density and Thermal Expansion versus Temperature and Salinity would take up too much space: there are simply too many values users could be interested in.  Instead we assembled an Excel 2019 spreadsheet with outright data for Pure Water, but with a formula for Saline Water coded in.  Users only need to specify the Salinity they're interested in and Density and Thermal Expansion Coefficients will be populated for temperatures at 0.01 ℃, 0.1 ℃, and 1.0 ℃ increments.
