Overview

In Bloodline: Heroes of Lithas, each Champion has a variety of Statistics that determine how combat unfolds.  The most basic of these are how much damage they can take (Constitution) and how much damage they deal with non-Skill Attacks (Strength), but there are several others that can dramatically impact how well your team performs.  These Stats are what get modified by Skill Attacks: e.g. Female Daevala's Ultimate Skill reads "Moves among enemies and deals DMG equal to 559.2% of the Champion's ATK per second...".  Such descriptions are applied against the Champion's base Statistics as described below, and thus it's important to know what these values are.

With the number of Champions increasing by 2 (one Male and one Female) every 2 weeks, it's easy to lose track of how each Champion compares to the rest.  Here we present some definitions for Champion Statistics and a Table comparing them across Champions.

Conclusions

You can see Champion Statistics by selecting your Champion or a Renowned Champion.  Near the bottom of the screen you will see numbers and images like those at the top of this page (e.g. a tiny bag of gold, heart, sword, and shield, with numbers to their right), to the right of which is a small "i" Information bubble.  When you click on the "i" it will bring up a screen like the following:

Some Stats have fairly complex in-game treatment.  As formulas are determined via experimentation we will update the following list, but for now here are some basic descriptions:
  • Constitution - How much damage your Champion can take before dying.
  • Strength - How much damage your Champion deals with non-Skill attacks, as well as the baseline number that Skill Attack Modifiers are applied against.
  • Fortitude - How much damage attacks on your Champion are reduced by before decreasing your Constitution.  Roughly speaking, Damage Received = Opponent's Strength - Your Fortitude.  This is only "roughly" because modifiers can be applied to Strength, Fortitude, and Damage, and where in the formula those modifiers are applied is a subject of debate.
  • Attack Speed - The numbers of seconds between each attack.  While the Stat name is "Speed", implying it would be number of attacks per second or some other "per second" value, it has been experimentally determined to actually be a number of seconds.  While many Traits will modify Stat values on these screens, it is noteworthy that Agile does not modify this value despite changing how your Champion behaves in combat.
  • Critical Rate - The likelihood that each attack will use the Critical Damage multiplier.
  • Critical Damage - When a Critical Hit happens, damage is modified by this multiplier.
  • Hit / Dodge - Used together to determine whether you hit your Opponent or your Opponent hits you.  It's unclear what the "scale" of these numbers are and how they convert into percentage chances, since the number can scale up to the thousands when Runes are used.
  • Leadership - How much Gold this Champion will generate if Assigned to a District.
With these basic descriptions provided for each Statistic, here is a Table summarizing the most important Statistics across all Champions.  Some Notes about this Table:
  1. Values are taken from the Renowned Champions tab
  2. Entries are sorted alphabetically by Role, then by decreasing Strength.  While Non-Skill DPS can be informative, Strength is what Skills are based on and what people are most commonly concerned with.
  3. Color-Scaling is done separately for each Column, but includes all rows in that column (i.e. - it spans Role).
  4. Color-Scaling goes from Green (most desirable) to Red (least Desirable).  So Green is used for higher Strength, Fortitude, etc, but is used for lower Attack Speed.
  5. Critical Damage (200%), Hit (2), and Dodge (2) are identical for all Champions released so far.  To keep the Table slightly more compact, they are not listed.
  6. Non-Skill DPS is calculated simply as Strength / Attack Speed, and does not take Skills, Critical Rate, Critical Damage, Hit, or Dodge into account.

It's easy to see the anti-correlation between Constitution/Fortitude and Strength: when one is strong Green the other is strong Red.  Similarly, it's easy to see that Critical Rate is nearly set by Role, except for a handful of Assassin and Mage Champions that deviate.

    1. Unfortunately, we stopped playing this game three months ago! (See at the top of the post, "Last Updated: 2023-06-29"). Back then they were adding new Champions roughly every 2 weeks, so the tables here are likely missing 6-8 Champions by now. Sorry about that, but the Game Developers were simply adding too many features too quickly (and they were often extremely buggy!).
